Some call it the main frame . </div> <div>      This kit eliminates the possibility of the steering bushing and or the cross tube mount</div> <div> to the floats from cracking or twisting when the aircraft is put through some hard landings </div> <div> or just rough ground conditions.      </div> <div>      The kit includes a steel insert that fits into the existing boom. All that is needed to install this update is a hacksaw, drill, a long 1/4 inch bit, and some hand wrenches. </div> <div> Full instruction are provided with the proper hardware. The install time is about 4 to 5 hours</div> <div> and can be done in the field. If your buddies are helping you it may take a little longer.</div> <div>      The picture below is showing a top and bottom view of the conversion. The milled section(the bright steel) fits snugly into the aluminum boom section of the aircraft.
